A fully illustrated catalogue published to accompany Tillyer's exhibition at mima (Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art) With a forwards by Kate Brindly and James Beighton - Director and Curator of mima and a new text 'Found, Seen and Discovered - The Art of William Tillyer' by poet, critic and writer John Yau.
mima gave over all its major gallery spaces to the work of Middlesbrough-born William Tillyer, in the largest presentation of a single artist at mima since the gallery's opening in 2007.
The exhibition, which covered Tillyer's 50 year career featured paintings, watercolours, sculptures and drawings, also includes a huge digitally manipulated watercolour inspired by Teesside's High Force waterfall, commissioned by mima.
